Welcome to the Department of Criminal Justice.
The Criminal Justice Department offers its students a practical but challenging interdisciplinary liberal arts education designed to help them acquire the technological and critical thinking skills necessary to achieve in the work place while, at the same time, developing the strength of character and mind that typifies the traditional Iona student. Due to the interdisciplinary nature of our course content, we offer programs that enable our graduates to pursue diverse career paths. We also seek to instill in our students a commitment to social justice that will stand them in good stead as they embark upon careers within the Criminal Justice System, or elsewhere, and prepare for a life of service to others.
