Through the Hagan School of Business, we offer the first MBA program in Rockland with the prestigious AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) International accreditationa highly acclaimed distinction (Hagan is among the top 30 percent of business schools worldwide.) There are five MBA specializations, as well as several post-master's certificate programs offered.
Graduate degrees from the School of Arts and Science include telecommunications, computer science, history, English, teaching (for career changers), education and educational technology. The programs are designed for professionals looking to enhance their qualifications to gain an edge in the workforce. Programs in the School of Arts and Science are accredited by ACEJMC (the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications [just one of four in New York State]); NCATE (the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education); and CSWE (the Council on Social Work Education).
Courses are scheduled once a week in the evening on either a trimester or semester basis (depending on the program), and twice a week during two summer sessions. Distance learning courses are also offered.
The Rockland Graduate Center also offers selected undergraduate course offerings during semesters and special sessions. Training seminars and conferences for Rockland businesses are planned.
