We have successfully treated children and adults with a wide range of speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders.
The following are only some of the specific services we offer.

- Bilingual evaluations (birth to 3) and treatment

- Communicative disorders resulting from brain injury, stroke or neurogenic disorders
- Memory, language and attention disorders associated with brain injury

- Speech and language intervention associated with hearing impairment

- Swallowing therapy (physician order required)
- Voice and resonance disorders
Please contact our clinic if you or a family member (child or adult) are experiencing:
- difficulties producing sounds
- problems following directions
- problems initiating and participating in conversations
- memory loss or difficulty in problem solving
- comprehension and/or expression problems with spoken and/or written speech
- coughing during meals
- the inability to make their wants and needs known
- a hoarse/raspy voice, or repeating words or phrases
- unidentified or unknown communication issues

Scheduling
The Iona University Speech, Language & Hearing Clinic offers a full range of diagnostic and treatment services for both children and adults. The Clinic operates in conjunction with the University academic calendar (Fall, Spring and Summer sessions). The clinic is open Monday through Friday as detailed below. Client services are offered individually during clinic hours.
