Bronxville Housing FAQ
Bohm Hall is a three-story, traditional-style residence hall featuring spacious double bedrooms, accommodating two students per room. A limited number of triple rooms, housing three students, are also available. Each floor of the residence hall is designated for a single gender. The building will hold about 70 students in total.
Each floor will have a single shared bathroom that is large enough to accommodate the number of students on each floor, containing multiple sinks, toilets and showers. Bathrooms are being renovated to include high-end finishes.
The building will offer multiple lounges, a laundry room and individual room HVAC units.
There will be four Resident Assistants and a full-time professional staff member living and working within the building. Just as on the New Rochelle campus, their job is to work directly with and support students’ needs, build community through various activities and ensure that community standards are upheld.
Yes, the Gael Express currently runs between the New Rochelle and Bronxville campuses, Monday-Friday.
In addition, there will be a dedicated Friday shuttle to downtown Bronxville. Shuttle schedules are still being finalized, but more information can be found here.
The Bronxville campus has its own dedicated Campus Safety team that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, that functions as a direct continuation of the New Rochelle Campus Safety Office. There will be an overnight security detail for Bohm Hall. Entry into and within Bohm Hall will be regulated via card access.
Residential students living in Bronxville, regardless of class year, will be permitted to register a vehicle and park in designated overnight spots on the Bronxville campus. A hangtag will be required for parking, and distribution will be handled through Bronxville Campus Safety located in Sieker Hall.
The Bronxville Cafe hours will be expanded to include dinner on weekdays. Weekend hours and additional dining details, such as the number of swipe points and access to Kelly Center Avenue C, are still to be determined. The ability to use dining points at nearby Bronxville eateries will also be available.
Campus Safety in Sieker Hall will handle all packages delivered to the Bronxville Campus. The Office of Residential Life staff will work with Campus Safety to deliver all other mail to students within the building.
Yes, students will have access to fitness facilities on Iona’s Bronxville campus.
Students will have access to multiple lounges within Bohm Hall. Access to Kelly Center spaces will also be available, including after-hours card access.
To live in Bohm Hall on Iona’s Bronxville campus, you must first log in to the housing portal and complete your 2025-2026 Housing Contract. The Office of Residential Life is accepting applications for Bronxville Housing on a first come, first served basis. To complete a Bronxville Housing Application, please fill out this form by March 7, 2025. Residential Life Staff will place Bronxville students prior to the start of general housing selection.
