My Iona

Identification Cards

Every student is required to keep on their person at all times a university-issued Iona ID card. This card is necessary to borrow materials from the library, use the Hynes Athletics Center, receive student discounts or utilize other services where an ID is required. This card will be recognized as long as the student is in good standing at Iona. The ID card can be obtained from the Campus Safety  Office located in LaPenta Student Union. As a regulation of the Code of Conduct students must provide it upon request to university officials, if asked.

The Office of Campus Safety issues ID cards and parking permits at LaPenta Student Union, Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the fall and spring. Summer hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Thursday and Friday 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The administrative office can be reached at (914) 633-2245 during these times. The Campus Safety Communications office can be reached at (914) 633-2560 24 hours a day. Please note that ID issuing services are suspended from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily.

The first ID is issued without charge. A fee of $15 will be charged for the replacement of lost or damaged cards.
