8:30-9:30 a.m.
Student Orientation Registration & Check-In
Location: Mulcahy Gym
Welcome to Orientation! Check-in to receive your Orientation name tag and a welcome backpack filled with important information (and fun giveaways). After you’re finished checking in, head over to the student breakfast.
8:30-10 a.m.
Breakfast for Students and Meet Your OL and Group
Location: Mulcahy Gym
Assigned group number (check your name tag/schedule at check-in).
Help yourself to breakfast as you enter. Join your group at your designated table.
Small group formal discussions will begin at 9 a.m. Get to know the other students in your group and learn more about your orientation leader.
10 a.m.
Orientation Leaders in Vitanza Commons will guide you to your next session.
10:05-10:45 a.m.
Welcome to Gael Nation
Location: Upper Gym, Hynes Athletics Center
An opportunity to formally welcome the Class of 2028 and all incoming new students! While this is a joint session for students and families, students will be sitting with their Orientation groups.
11 a.m.-12:15 p.m.
Maroon: Get Connected
Location: Various Campus Computer Labs, Assigned by Group
Join your group in setting up your online community at Iona. Learn what you need to remain connected. Students will sign up for the Iona emergency text messaging system, enter emergency contact information in Peoplesoft, learn where to have access to financial statements, and more.
Gold: Iona 101 Student Session and Snacks
Location: Romita Auditorium and Romita Lobby
An introduction to Student Affairs, Career Development, Academic Support services and campus life at Iona! Hear from administrators and staff during this session.
12:15–12:30 p.m.
Student groups switch sessions
12:30 p.m. -1:45 p.m.

Next Steps & Wrapping It Up with Killian
Location: Hynes Athletics Center
Review next steps! Take your Orientation group picture.
4:30-6 p.m.
Information Sessions and Welcome Receptions will be held throughout the LaPenta School of Business
