As a lifelong resident of New Rochelle, Janey has witnessed the continued growth of Iona University, which fuels her dedication as director of student accounts. With a background in business and communications from the College of New Rochelle, Janey is committed to supporting first-generation college students so they can achieve their dreams. What she loves most about Iona is the sense of community. She is an avid animal lover, with a soft spot for dogs, cats and horses

Born and raised in the Bronx, Shante earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from Canisius University and a master's degree in business from Mercy University. Her passion lies in helping students and families from diverse backgrounds, providing them with the tools needed to complete their education. Shante has worked across various departments on campus, showcasing her commitment to student success.

Lillian holds a BA in sociology from SUNY Binghamton University. Originally from Westchester County, Lillian finds joy in staff appreciation events and cherishes these moments with colleagues. Lillian looks forward to helping students find solutions to their financial needs so students can enjoy their Iona education. Fun fact: Lillian is also a twin!

Francesca is driven to make a difference in the lives of families and students pursuing an Iona education. Francesca has a background in accounting, including a master's degree from the University of Scranton. Since joining Iona, Francesca has recognized the strong close-knit community felt across campus. She is excited to continue supporting the academic success of students from all walks of life.

Mary has dedicated over 30 years of service to Iona University. During her tenure, she witnesses first-hand: “Gaels take care of Gaels.” She enjoys meeting students and families to help them navigate financial aspects of pursuing an Iona education. Mary was born in England and raised in The Bronx where you can find her cheering on Donegal New York during Gaelic Football season. She looks forward to introducing her two granddaughters to the game when they are old enough.

Jennifer, who earned her bachelor's degree from Iona in 2002, has supported students through the financial aid process for over 20 years. She is passionate about supporting families through higher education to ensure they feel well-equipped. Her hobbies include bowling, volleyball and cooking.

Leandra has served as a financial aid counselor for over a decade at Iona University. She is fueled by the joy of watching students graduate and earn their degrees. Hailing from El Salvador, Leandra earned her business administration degree from Mercy College. What inspires her the most is supporting students with their finances as they embark on their Iona journey.
