Academic Ensembles in Performing Arts at Iona University

Students interested in participating in any of Iona University's performing arts ensembles for academic credit should register for the course in PeopleSoft and attend the class at the scheduled time.

For the Dance and Music ensembles, the first meeting will serve as an assessment/audition session where the ensemble director will gauge your skills and plan the ensemble repertories/role assignments accordingly.

For the Theatre ensemble, students interview and audition for parts on given dates.  Acting, singing and other necessary skills for the production will be assessed and students will be selected by the director according to their ability and their match for the roles needed for the production.

If you have questions or would like to learn more about the process, please feel free to contact the ensemble director.
