Chemical Society

Iona's Chemical Society unites science enthusiasts with the transforming power of chemistry in an inclusive environment on campus. The society is a student affiliate chapter of the American Chemical Society (ACS) that aims to create enthusiasm about chemistry and how it plays a vital role in our daily lives!

The chapter works to engage young students, exposing them to the fun and interesting aspects of chemistry through lectures, social events and philanthropic opportunities. Members of the Chemical Society participate in events such as Earth Day park clean-ups and Chemical Bingo.
