Student Government Association (SGA)

The Student Government Association (SGA) represents the voice of the student body throughout the University. The association was created on the belief that a complete college education extends beyond the academic program and it actively works to enhance the campus experience for every student.

Among its duties, SGA oversees funding for recognized student organizations and activities; encourages diverse and welcoming student activity experiences; and provides an open line of communication between the student body and the faculty and administration, ensuring that the students' views are represented in all areas of the University.

SGA is composed of an executive board of elected student representatives, and a legislative branch of elected senators representing a cross-section of all class years and the presidents of each student organization. Elected positions are chosen each year and any student is welcome to run!

SGA meets at least twice per month and meetings are open to all students to attend.
