The Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) Department at Iona University is an approved American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) CE Provider. Professional development participants are eligible to receive credits to help maintain state and CCC requirements.

Please note: The CE unit collects participant names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, forms of payment and ASHA membership IDs. This information is used for course registration, course completion, and participant contact in order to notify regarding future CEU events. This information is not shared with others or outside entities. Participants must register and provide the above information prior to any Continuing Education event.
- In the unlikely event that the CE unit at Iona University in the Communication Sciences & Disorders Department needs to cancel a seminar, the registered participants will be notified immediately. The participants will receive a refund for their cost of attendance. The CE unit does not accept responsibility for any other expenses by the registrant.
- If a participant needs to cancel, a full refund will be granted as long as the participant contacts us two weeks prior to the start of the seminar. An administrative fee of $35 will be charged if the participant cancels with less than two weeks notice.
The CE Unit at Iona University in the Communication Sciences & Disorders Department provides programs to enhance professional growth. If you attend a seminar and did not achieve the professional objectives set forth in our description or have any other complaint to report, please email CEU@iona.edu within seven days of the seminar. This will be reviewed and a response will be given via email. If deemed appropriate, a voucher will be provided to the participant as a credit toward another seminar at our site.
