In 18 Months, Working Professionals Can Earn A Master of Business Administration
Program Offers Convenience, Flexibility & Affordability
NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – In order to meet the needs of a modern workforce and the increasing demands of the global economy, Iona College is offering a Master of Business Administration degree fully online.
The new program, which begins in November 2019 at Iona’s accredited LaPenta School of Business, offers what its traditional MBA program does; yet classes are designed to be taken 100 percent online. Additionally, the degree can be completed in 18 months and the program enables students to take classes from anywhere, allowing busy professionals to manage their careers, personal lives, and coursework in a way that works best for them.
“Our new online MBA is designed to be convenient, flexible and more affordable to meet the needs of working professionals who are trying to get ahead in their careers while juggling their busy lives,” said Darrell P. Wheeler, Ph.D., Iona College’s provost. “The program is as rigorous as our traditional MBA, yet allows students to attend class and complete course work on their own schedules.”
Iona will continue to offer its thriving MBA program in the traditional in-person setting, and the benefits of an Iona MBA apply to both the in-person and online options. With small class sizes, Iona’s online MBA offers personal attention, provides access to a network of 45,000 alumni, and courses that are designed and led by the same faculty that teach at the LaPenta School of Business’s traditional MBA program. Students in the online MBA program also have access to in-person networking events, speakers, career services, and related events on campus.
The online MBA offers rolling admission, and students can complete two courses in each 10-week term, while simultaneously enabling students to save time and money on travel expenses associated with attending classes on campus. Students can choose from a number of electives, and can start the program at four periods during the year: June, August, November and February. Students also have the option of taking classes in person.
The LaPenta School of Business is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Businesses International (AACSB), National Council for State Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA) and approved by the New York State Education Department (NYSED). It complements other business programs offered by the College.
