Our students apply what they have learned in the classroom to help the community tackle real-life issues through experiential learning.

Our service-learning courses partner with nonprofit organizations, government agencies and social service groups on specific projects serving needs identified by the organizations and the communities we serve.

Service-learning at Iona seeks to equip students to be agents of change through four dimensions of learning and development, including interpersonal, intrapersonal, intercultural and academic.
