How Aid Is Disbursed
Financial aid from Iona University is awarded to students by the term, or by no more than two consecutive semesters or three consecutive trimesters at a time. You can log into your PeopleSoft account to see the amount of funds you will receive and the anticipated disbursement dates for the funds.
Scholarships and grants: As long as your official FAFSA and verification are complete, a scholarship or grant from Iona University will be credited to your account within 30 days of the start of each semester or trimester.
On-campus employment: Assuming your timesheet is submitted on time to the Payroll Office, you will be paid every two weeks by check or direct deposit for any wages you earn through on-campus employment.
Loans: You must accept your Federal Direct subsidized and unsubsidized loans through your PeopleSoft account. If you're a first-time borrower, you must complete a master promissory note and entrance counseling session at studentaid.gov.
