Tyler Danzi was appointed as the Coordinator of Recreation and Intramurals at Iona University in the summer of 2023. He currently serves as the Men’s Club Lacrosse Head Coach and Women’s Club Lacrosse Head Coach.

Danzi brings extensive coaching experience, having recently served as the Eastchester High School Varsity Boys’ Lacrosse Head Coach. Currently, he continues his passion for coaching as a part-time consultant with Horace Mann High School, where he holds the title of Associate Varsity Head Coach. His past roles include Associate Head Coach at Ardsley High School and assistant coaching positions at Riverdale Country School and Mount Saint Michael Academy. At Iona, he has also directed summer camps, including the development of a specialized boys’ lacrosse program.

An accomplished athlete himself, Danzi played Division II and club lacrosse during his college years. He holds a Master of Arts in Physical Education and Sports Pedagogy from Manhattanville College and a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences from the University at Albany. As a New York State Certified Physical Education Teacher, he has worked various Westchester County school districts.
