IBM SPSS Statistics

Instructions on downloading IBM SPSS Statistics Premium for home use.

Go to www.iona.edu/workorder
Sign in using your Iona University computer id and password.
On the left-hand side of the screen click on Downloads
Select the MAC version of SPSS 28.0.1.1
Print the page or copy the Product Key information.
Click on Download
Save File
Click the newly downloaded program to run the file (.pkg)
Click “Continue” on the Welcome screen of the installer
Click “Continue” on the Software License Agreement
On the window that drops from the top select “Agree”
Click on “Continue” on the Destination window
Click on “Install” on the next step.
Insert credentials on the pop window. These credentials are the same credentials used to unlock the machine.
NOTE: after this step a few windows will open and some icons will appear on the bottom dock.
Open SPSS Statistics. When prompted, select “Launch License Wizard”. Select “Next”.
The License Status will open. You will select “Next”.
The Product Authorization will open. Here you will have two options to authorize/activate. Select the top option which should be already selected by default. “Authorized user license”. Click next
On the “Enter Codes” window, you will input the code provided, then click “Add”.
Once added, click on “Next”
On the next window you will see a brief authorization process with black and green log messages. Once you see them click “Next”
Once this is done, you will just have to select “Close” on the first window we had open in the beginning of the process.
The process is now Completed.
You may open “Launchpad” and you can now look for the SPSS application.
Done.

Go to www.iona.edu/workorder
Sign in using your Iona University computer id and password.
On the left hand side of the screen click on Downloads
Select the Windows version of SPSS 28.0.1.1
Print the page or copy the Product Key information.
Click on Download
Save File
Display Downloads or go to your downloads directory
Click on the .exe file
If prompted to allow this app to make changes, click on yes.
Click on Next
Make sure the radio button next to I accept the terms in the license agreement is selected
Click on Next
Click on Next
Click on Install
Click on Finish
On the Activate IBM SPSS Statistics Screen make sure Launch License Wizard is selected
Click on Next
Paste or type in the Product Key Information from Step 5 into the Enter Code box and press Add
Click Next
Click Next
Click Finish

Installation is now complete.

Maplesoft

Maplesoft can be accessed via Software 2 AppsAnywhere. Please follow the instructions above for Software 2 AppsAnywhere.

ChemDoodle 3D

System Requirements

Windows Vista/7/8/10+, macOS 10.11+ (El Capitan, Sierra, High Sierra, Mojave, Catalina or more recent), or Linux.
A 64 bit system is required (all modern systems are 64 bit).
ChemDoodle 3D requires OpenGL v2 drivers.
A minimum of 1GB of memory.

Go to www.iona.edu/workorder.
Sign in using your Iona University computer id and password.
On the left-hand side of the screen click on Downloads.
Select the MAC version of ChemDoodle 3D.
Click on Download.
Save File.
Click the newly downloaded program to run it. A window will appear asking you to move the ChemDoodle3D folder to Applications. Do this by opening Applications (Go  Applications) and dragging the ChemDoodle3D folder from the window into Applications.
Double click the ChemDoodle3D folder in Applications to open the folder. Then double click the ChemDoodle3D application file to run it and press “Open” when prompted to open the app.
A license agreement will appear. Press “Accept.”
The program will then ask you to activate your license. Click the “retrieve it here” link to obtain your site license code.
You will be redirected to a website, where you should input your Iona email address and press “Get License Codes.” You will see a confirmation on the screen saying the code has been mailed to your Iona email address.
Check your Iona email to retrieve the Site license code. Copy and paste the code into the 4 boxes provided in the ChemDoodle3D activation window. Then press “Verify.”
Once ChemDoodle3D has finished activation, press “Open ChemDoodle 3D” to launch the program.

Go to www.iona.edu/workorder.
Sign in using your Iona University computer id and password.
On the left-hand side of the screen click on Downloads.
Select the Windows version of ChemDoodle 3D.
Click on Download.
Save File.
Display Downloads or go to your download’s directory.
Click on the .exe file.
If prompted to allow this app to make changes, click on yes.
Follow the steps in the installation window to complete setup: press “Next” and then “Install.”
Wait until the program finishes installing. When it prompts you to open ChemDoodle3D now, press “Yes.”
A license agreement will appear. Press “Accept.”
The program will then ask you to activate your license. Click the “retrieve it here” link to obtain your site license code.
