Welcome to Iona

Explore resources that will help you and your student navigate the college process. Experience Iona’s tight-knit community and learn how “Gaels Take Care of Gaels!”

Welcome! We’re so excited to have your student — and the whole family — join our Iona University community.

We’re here to support you and your student during this time of transformation. We encourage you to get to know us, too.

Whether you’re the parent of a new or returning student, you’ll find everything you need to plan a visit, explore your child’s housing and dining options, understand your financial aid package and much more.

Parents of Future Gaels

Make Your Deposit | May 1

Making your student’s deposit locks in their spot in our incoming class. Once your student’s deposit is in, they will be able to connect to Iona technology, register for orientation and complete other important steps to becoming a Gael!

Register for Orientation

Attending orientation gives your student the opportunity to meet future friends, get acquainted on campus, connect with their academic advisor and more. Not only that, but our orientation team also has created special events just for parents and guardians so that you can have your questions answered and get the information you need.

Orientation

Stay Informed

We reach out to parents regularly and will keep you up to date on news at Iona, campus enhancements, career fairs for your student and more. You’ll begin receiving emails from emaildistribution@iona.edu beginning around August. We also recommend you join the Class of 2029 Parents Facebook Group to stay in touch with Iona while meeting other parents.
