Students Inducted into Upsilon Pi Epsilon (UPE), the International Honor Society for Computer and Information Disciplines
On May 7, 2021, the Computer Science Department held a virtual ceremony for students inducted into Upsilon Pi Epsilon (UPE), the International Honor Society for Computer and Information Disciplines. A member of the Association of College Honor Societies (ACHS), UPE is the first and only existing international honor society in the Computing and Information disciplines.
New members recognized for their outstanding academic achievement and professionalism are students Patrick Sammon (BS ’21), Jose Lopez (BS ’21), Gabriel Vargas (BS ‘22), Brendan Bohan (BA ‘22), Brandan Gianni (BS ‘21), Christopher Mena (BA ‘22), Kelvin Veloz (BS ‘22), Brijian Levesque (BS ‘21), Gjergj Baca (MS ‘21), John Millar (MS ’21) and Mariama Njie (MS ’20).
