Outsourcing Duplicating Services
Effective August 1, Iona duplicating center services was outsourced. Copy jobs that were normally produced in-house will now be completed by Minuteman Press in New Rochelle, N.Y.
Outsourcing to Minuteman allows us to reduce costs while also elevating the print options available to us. Services will include black and white and color copies, booklets, manuals, postcards, flyers, brochures and more. Print-ready copy requests should be submitted via the employee portal.
To request copies, faculty and staff will log in to the employee portal to submit a work order (just like the current process with a Facilities work order, IT help desk work order or a MarCom design work order). The request form will ask for specifics regarding the copy job, along with budget code or department code.
Copy jobs for Minuteman can be submitted via hard copy as well. You should request copies via the above form and dropped off the hard copy in the convenience copier area in McSpedon Hall. Hard copy submissions will require more than 2 business day for turnaround.
Standard, print-ready copy uploaded via the above form within business hours (Mon-Fri, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.) will be completed within two business days. Minuteman Press will deliver finished copy requests to the convenience copier area located in the lower level in McSpedon Hall every business day at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Color copies will be charged back at a rate of $0.06 per click (for instance $0.06 for a one-sided color copy, or $0.12 for a double-sided color copy), plus the cost of specialty paper if used. There is no charge for black and white copies on regular paper.
Rush services will incur an extra charge to process. Minuteman Press will notify users of the cost of the rush service in advance and will not perform the rush service unless written approval is received.
Posters, brochures and different paper sizes are all available. Minuteman Press is able to offer a wide range of products and services outside of the normally produced in-house services. Any request submitted outside of the normally produced in-house services will be quoted and billed at Minuteman Press rates.
Convenience Copiers
The convenience copy area will remain in place in the same location on the bottom floor of McSpedon Hall with two self-service black and white copiers. A copier pin is required to use these copiers.

Frequently Asked Questions
The submitter will receive a confirmation email from Minuteman Press letting them know their request was received and is in process. If the submitter does not receive a confirmation email, they should contact Minuteman Press at ionacopycenterny201@minutemanpress.com or call them at (914) 576-0335.

If you miss the window for requesting duplicating, you can make black and white copies using the self-service copiers in the convenience copy area. You will need to have a copier pin code to use the copiers. If you need a copier pin code, submit a Request for IT Assistance from the employee portal to request one.
Full-Time faculty and staff receive an allotment of 1,000 copies per month. Part-Time staff and adjuncts receive an allotment of 500 copies per month. The allotment is reset on the 1st of the month. Please note that if you are copying two sides of a page it counts as two copies. If you submit your documents to Minuteman Press for copying, it will not decrease the amount you have available on your PIN code.
